Who We Are
Friends in Your Community
We are a group of local citizens who saw the need to provide support to local families who are faced with battling cancer. We have seen many old, young, female and male community members diagnosed since 2014.
What We Do
We have hosted Golf and Cornhole Tournaments. The funds raised helped us donate over $100,000.00. We created Chemo Care Packages for Grand Mesa Oncology patients, provide meals, an XBox 1, financial support and a memorial stone in memory of an eight year old girl.
The Hope Project also offers personal advice, a listening ear, as well as gift cards to help when traveling to and from treatments
Why We Do It
This is a pay it forward project, I Naomi Sutliff, was so appreciative of all the support that my family received when I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Breast Cancer on December 9, 2014, I knew that I had to do something for others in our community, as there are very little resources.
